My Happy Planner Review! || July 27, 2019.

If you don't know yet, I'm someone who loves to plan. I started really enjoying the idea of planning around the time of my 8th grade year when I realized that I couldn't just remember all of the work I had to get done, I needed to write it down some place. But, the planner they gave you in school was absolutely horrendous (and far too big for a middle schooler), so I bought a new one and followed the weekly charts, writing down my homework and checking it off in the evenings when it was done. Having a planner became very beneficial for me, considering I was always doing something for some kind of activity on top of all the school work.
As I started to get into high school I found that I liked more creative stuff about planning and fell in love with the idea of having a bullet journal (and I still LOVE the idea of having one omg!) but for me, I had no time to sit down and do monthly spreads, and on top of that, although I consider myself a pretty crafty and creative person, that doesn't mean I'm super artistic, which meant that I knew my journal would look worse than I wanted it to. So, I bought some planner from Wal-Mart and continued to just watch BuJo videos on YouTube (which, if you haven't done yet I highly recommend them, they're so cool to watch).
This past school year (my sophomore year) I decided to put a little bit more time in my planner and actually sat down every month and decorated it with stickers, always wrote in it with pen and kept it looking so cute- it definitely turned into something that I'm proud of (and if you would like to see a flip through of that, I will gladly do one on my IGTV or something, just DM me on my instagram!) The only downside was that the planner basically fell apart by the end of the ear from the amount of use it had gained from being transferred in and out of my backpack all of the time, and I realized I needed to invest in something a little bit better, which brings me to my lovely Happy Planner.

Although I haven't been using my planner for that long, I adore it! The theme throughout is by far one of my favorites I've had within a planner (which I'm pretty picky about) and it includes everything you'd need. I'm someone who uses monthly spreads because to me they're more convenient, but I have considered to go to the weekly spreads because I love the way they're set up! You have weekly goals to complete at the bottom and what your goals are for the following week.
Circling back to something I was talking about before, although I would love to BuJo (bullet journal) I have absolutley no time to even begin thinking about spending that much time monthly on a planner, but I feel like my Happy Planner is a great in between because it has a personal feel to it and I can also use stickers in it (which is my favorite part of every month, haha!). It allows me to have freedom within how I plan but also a lot more classy and a lot less time!

This isn't a sponsored post by any means, I just thought I'd share my love for this planner!
